Background

Local sustainability initiatives are key drivers of social change.
Visions of the future are a core element for the cohesion of these initiatives and also a key lever for enforcing their goals and strategies.
The aim of our workshop was to use the collective creativity of local initiatives from the Upper Rhine region to jointly develop visions of a sustainable future.
Local sustainability initiatives from the Upper Rhine region (Germany, Switzerland and France) that are active in the areas of food, water, consumption, energy transition, climate change and mobility took part.
