Dr. Iljana Schubert is an environmental psychologist currently working as senior researcher at the Sustainability Research Group of the University of Basel and in the Sustainable Mobility Research Team at the Zürich University of Applied Sciences. She received a doctorate in ‘behaviour change towards sustainable consumer behaviour’ in 2015 from the University of Bournemouth, UK. Dr. Schubert applies a multidisciplinary perspective to investigate the complex mechanisms of sustainable consumer behaviour and its change, currently specifically focussing on mobility and household energy consumption.

Profile

Annika Sohre has an interdisciplinary academic background as a graduate environmental scientist and a doctorate in political science. She is currently working in sustainability research on several projects, e.g. SHEDS (Swiss Household Energy Demand Survey) within SCCER CREST (Swiss Competence Center for Research, Society and Transition), Sufficiency in Everyday Life (funded by Mercator Foundation Switzerland), Utility Business Model Transformation through human-centric behavioral interventions and ICT tools for Energy Efficiency (UtilitEE; Horizon 2020-EE-2017 project) or Smart-BEEjS Human-Centric Energy Districts (Horizon2020 MSCA Innovative Training Network). Her research focuses on governance, energy and sustainability transformations, energy behavior, sufficiency, and energy and climate policy.

Lena Bloemertz has an interdisciplinary academic background as a graduate geoecologist and a doctorate in social geography. Her current research focuses on the socio-ecological transformation of society in the food system. In addition, she has worked on smallholder risk management and access to land in Namibia.

Profile

Simon Sohre is Professor of Science Social Work at the EH Freiburg. Previously, he held a professorship for theories and methods of social work at the Bern University of Applied Sciences for Social Work. He studied social pedagogy at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg, majoring in educational science, social pedagogy, psychology, sociology, social philosophy and ethics. He received his doctorate from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg on the topic of "The Power of Critique - Discourse around Critique after Foucault in Social Pedagogy and Educational Science". His research topics include educational theory, social sustainability, social and cultural change, and ethics. He is currently working on a research project on "The Culture of the Social - The Context of Education and Sustainability."
